Can't get a reset password link

Reproduction steps #1

  • create a 10-minutes email account / or use an email account to which you have access

  • find a user with the enabled flag set to true and change user’s email address

  • verify the email address

  • click the Forgot Password? link on the login page

  • enter the email address from the first step

  • click Reset Password button

Reproduction steps #2

  • create a 10-minutes email account / or use an email account to which you have access

  • Create a new user with the email address.

  • Reset password manually (not with email).

  • Click on the Reset Password button next to the newly created user.

  • Try to Send Reset Password email

Expected
An email with reset password link should be sent and the user should see a notification

Actual
An error message that a request could not be sent to the notification service.

Acceptance criteria

  • a user should get detailed message why a reset password link was not sent instead of a generic message

  • an admin user should be able to send reset password link to any active/enabled user (newly created and existing)

  • an active/enabled user should be able to reset password
