- WiFi setup to allow downloading Android updates, and browsers
- Admin account, set up with villirea@gmail google account
- Update Android, to at least 4.4.4 – Android updates are applied, one version increment at a time... a complete upgrade usually takes multiple steps. Each update also adds adware to the desktop, which must be dragged to the " X remove" icon that will appear at the top of the screen.
- Upgrade to latest version of Chrome. Disable: sync of all google account data, form autofill, saved passwords, automatic google translate, automatic chrome updates
- Install FireFox from Play store. Disable: automatic updates, remembering passwords, crash reporter, firefox health report
- Add restricted User Account, give access to at least:
- Settings

- WiFi for TP-Link
- Ensure firmware updated to latest from tp-link.com website (update needs PC, last was 3.17.1). Make sure the firmware upgrade matches the hardware version of the router
- Enter Movitel APN (m-internet)
- Setup SSID and password
- When in Mozambique, Check with Movitel
- Remove any PIN from SIM card
- Data Uage
- Setup TP-Link as HotSpot
- Turn off auto sync in data
- Remove unnecessary shortcuts from work spaces / task bar
- FireFox (for restricted user)
- Goto SELV and SELV-Training, bookmark
- Hide all home screens but Bookmarks
- Remove unnecessary bookmarks
- Set Download Updates Automatically to Never
- Unset any check boxes for product announcements or sending data back to Mozilla
- Test by going to SELV, manage distribution, cache app, turn on airplane mode, close FF and start FF using SELV bookmark to go to page
- Security (for restricted user)
- Turn screen lock to password
- Auto lock to 5 minutes after sleep
- Turn off power button instantly locks
- Change language to Portuges (Brazil)
- Configure TP-Link WiFi for TP-Link

- Note this updates the Android software to the latest version which is now 5.0 lollipop. I did not do this and left it at 4.4.2
- Turn off Auto updates

- Update to latest Chrome

- Disable Allow automatic updating

- Navigate to selv.villagereach.org and bookmark. Edit Bookmark to rename it appropriately. Hold down book mark to add it to home screen.

- Connect with Ethernet cable and make sure the unit is turned on. Navigate to 192.168.0.1 username: admin password: admin
- Ensure firmware updated to latest from http://www.tp-link.us/support/download/?model=TL-MR3040 (update needs PC, last was 3.17.1). Make sure the firmware upgrade matches the hardware version of the router (TL-MR3040 V2, but double check).
