If your files aren’t syncing, make sure that Dropbox is running and isn’t paused.

If Dropbox indicates that it’s syncing, it’s likely that:
A) Dropbox is properly configured.
B) Your files will eventually sync after some of the others.

In this case, wait until Dropbox indicates that it’s done syncing and then check whether your files have synced as well.

If your files still don’t sync, try closing DropBox. Do so by clicking the Dropbox icon shown within the previous screenshot and then following the two steps highlighted in below.

Next, to restart Dropbox, type “Dropbox” in the textbox which says “Type here to search” in the bottom-left side of the screen. Click on “Dropbox App” from the list of displayed options. Wait for Dropbox to start and indicate that it is finished syncing.

If your files still don’t sync, logout of Dropbox and then log back in. Logout by clicking Preferences (which is almost immediate above the Quit option highlighted in the previous screenshot) and then follow the steps illustrated below.

Restart the app as previously described and log back in.

If your files still don’t sync, consult Dropbox Storage Optimization to ensure that it’s configured to sync files.

Finally, if need be, contact Dropbox’s support.
