Goals

Winning ideas

  1. Configuration assistant page - a page in the OpenLMIS that lists what has been loaded so far; it can also contain description for each of the entity, copied over from the Implementer's guide; optionally it can detect missconfigurations
    1. A page that helps admin/implementer know what is successfully configured in the system
    2. This page includes missing configuration reports (facilities missing configuration)
    3. Show the dependencies that are easy to understand (visual)
  2. Requisition workflow on the requisition page - display simple requisition properties, like can it be skipped? how many approval steps it requires? what is the current approval step?
    1. Total approvals required
    2. Current steps (current status and what is next)
    3. Other requisition properties - can the requisition be skipped, can it be deleted
    4. Requisition States and Workflow (to use as reference)
  3. Admin screen wizard - a lot of entities need to be loaded into the system together with other entities to make sense, eg. facilities need to be added to the requisition group, orderables need to have FTAPs to be useable; a wizard could ask the users if they eg. want to add to add the newly created facility to the requisition group
    1. When admin creates a new entity (facility, user, orderables, etc) there are other dependencies that you must set up otherwise the entity is unusable.
  4. Update demo data README files - after recent changes to the demo data loading, they may no longer be valid, we need to review and fix them in some way
    1. Automate?
