Karl will be stepping back from the Governance Committee and ThoughtWorks will be dialing back their global/public work, focusing more on private sector.

Karl is continuing to discuss ongoing support with other ThoughtWorks teams, but TW China specifically is pulling back their engagement.

TW will continue to support any committed activities until completion.


Vaccine module update

  • May prioritization workshop to be held in Copenhagen (May 2-4)
    • Will be attended by: GAVI, UNICEF, JSI, WHO, CHAI, VillageReach, NexLeaf, PATH, BMGF
  • June Francophone user requirements workshop to be held in Dakar, Senegal the week of June 26 (2 day workshop + 1 overflow day)
  • Guinea OpenLMIS update & participation in workshop

Guinea will be deploying on the Cote d'Ivoire (eLMIS version) and not OpenLMIS v2

A number of factors went into this decision, mainly the country timeline

JSI is reviewing and sourcing funding for upgrade path to version 3

Guinea will be holding their own vaccine module workshop in July - Chris Wright will check with the Guinea team about sending participants to the June user requirements workshop for OpenLMIS

PATH DHI is requesting that the OpenLMIS Community put together documentation on the roles/responsibilities of key OLMIS staff, as well as budgeting and other business model elements developed with the sustainability of the community in mind.

PATH's Lauren Wall will be reaching out to Tenly Snow (Deactivated) with exact requirements and next steps.
