Suggestions from the SolDevelo teams (Angola & core)

  • Angola team:

    • Documentation was so incomplete it was just easier to rely on what was built for OpenLMIS uat.

    • The documents were explaining how to use Superset and some configuration, but not deployment configuration.

    • We may need a separate workshop with Angola and core so that we can have a complete deployment document.

    • Maintenance or updating existing reports, how to triage problems (common issues)

    • Automated testing for reports

  • Are there existing requirements for stock management reports? Where do these requirements live? We should review these to make sure we understand. This would help the design process for Angola & core.

Suggestions from Wes

  • Connecting Nifi to a new OLMIS Microservice

  • Considerations when adding data to the reporting db

  • Understanding of the OAUTH connection to OLMIS and how to extend it

  • Security and Roles in Superset

    • How to connect OpenLMIS roles or transferring roles to Superset

  • Understanding how the current deployment of Nifi and Superset works

  • Superset Report Dataset Design

    • Adding new dashboards and reports to existing service

      • Adding a new dashboard or reports for a new service

      • Jasper reports: how to move Jasper reports onto reporting stack
