Mobile Application

As part of SELV's revitalization plan, it was suggested at the meeting held yesterday with the Moz CD the use of the SELV mobile application to better our current implementation stage. With a focus on ensuring an integrated data collection and analysis tool, we made relevant changes to the version of the system that is currently installed in Vilankulos.
 
Application changes include:
 

  • Integration of the current version of SELV

The application makes a direct link to SELV, in use in all provinces. There has been no change to the base system so any changes made to SELV will automatically reflect in the data collection application

Note: The application has deep linking to the SELV address: https://selv.villagereach.org, that is, if the user clicks this link on the tablet, the application will automatically open on the device.
The application also has direct access to some SELV reports in its menu, thus facilitating access to them.
 

  • Integration with the PAV dashboard
    The application has the connection to the PAV dashboard, so you can check the data from various data sources in real time. Data can be filtered according to user access level

  • Integration with monthly reports in Tableau
    With the use of Tableau Public, it was possible to integrate the reports in tableau in the application, maintaining the dynamism of the reports and assigning the possibility to download the reports in several formats - pdf, powerpoint, image and excel.
    Use of this resource (free of charge) implies the availability of data and reports to the online service.

  • Integration with support resources
    The application has integration with the support resources. These documents are intended to provide support to technicians during periods of data distribution and analysis. The reports included in this release are:
    • SELV Manual: 2 page document containing a summary of how SELV should be used and the explanation of the existing fields;
    • Manual of Analysis of data: Document containing information regarding the monthly reports. This document explains in a simplified way what information is contained in the monthly reports.
    • Dashboard Manual: Not yet developed, this report will contain the directives on how to analyze the data made available in the Dashboard of the PAV.
    • PAV Manual: Not yet implemented, this document contains information pertaining to program management (EPI).


  • Support (in development)
    The support menu will provide users with a mechanism for contacting regional assessors and SELV maintenance staff.


The OneSignal.com service allows you to send notifications to devices with the application installed in real time. This feature will ensure that important information and reminders of programmatic management are sent to users, for example:

"The distribution period is near. Please guarantee the existence of inputs. "

"Distribution data for the month of XXXXX is available for analysis. Please find the report in the application


This feature also allows you to sort users by region / province or level (central, warehouses, provinces, etc.), so you can send personalized notifications to each user. This service provides a Dashboard for information management, informing in a simplified way, how many users receive each message and how many follow up each message.

Note: The service requires the payment of a single license in the amount of 200 USD.
