Stock based requisition: Stock on Hand from stock management

Description

As spock, I want my stock on hand column to be populated with the stock on hand at the end of the period this requisition is for from Stock Management so that my Stock on Hand is populated accurately when I initiate my stock based requisition.

AC:

  • For each Orderable line item on the stock based requisition, the stock on hand column will be populated at time of requisition initiate with the stock on hand value of the same Orderable returned in /api/v2/stockCardSummaries ()

  • the asOf date used in the above call, is the end date of the Requisition's period.

, there should be a user friendly error message instructing the user to conduct a physical inventory which will create the stock cards. One option would be to state how many products are missing information on stock levels and provide one product name (instead of listing out all the products missing). Does that make sense?

^ To put the above in a simple question: What to do if requisition is stock-based but there are no stock cards for the products?

I am not sure about how the system should handle a situation where after creating a stock based requisition there is no data in stock on hand column. Currently there is an error message about that stock on hand column must have value (check comment). Is this a correct behavior? Should we assume that in standard scenarios there are always data in the stock management service? Or should we throw exception that a requisition cannot be created because of missing data? Or should we put zero in those situations?
