As an implementor, I want the option to include and configure 'Remarks' (L) attribute (any additional remarks) so that supervisors can provide an explanation for the "Approved Quantity" (K) for recording purposes and informing storeroom managers of any reasoning.
The remarks column is associated with the approval step of the requisition process. See OpenLMIS-821 for the Explanation field associated with the requested quantity on the initial requisition form. Remarks (L) field is available for the supervisor while approving/rejecting the requisition.
Acceptance Criteria
Verify that:
on the requisition template users can enter text
filling out the remarks field is optional
assigned order is maintained in the requisition template
remarks is only displayed if selected in configuration
field type is string
not required, input is not required for submission
* Remarks (L) display order is after "Approved Quantity" (K) on the approval form
column is only available for edit/view during the approval step of the business process
appropriate permissions are enforced
Additional note: please view the configuration requisition template attached to the epic to see the interconnection with other requisition attributes.
Question:
how much effort would it be to potentially add an option for "user input is required if the "approved quantity" (K) is different than the "Requested Quantity" (J) or Calculated Order Quantity (I)"
For future discussion (not part of the scope of this ticket): Current behavior is, not required. However, how complicated to let the user define if it is required?
