Goals/Scope
Here we focus on the reports and analysis features which users highlighted as most useful.
For all reports and analysis, export to excel is very important and used regularly by users so they can further process the data in Excel.
In addition, features to export into DHIS, and into other softwares, are important for further analysis. Currently eLMIS exports data for 12 RMNCH products into DHIS. It is a quarterly export and it exports the closing balance for the quarter and the consumption for the quarter for each facility for each of the 12 products.
Being able to print reports including with customised headings and logos is also important.
Status in eLMIS: In eLMIS
Status in OpenLMIS: Not in OpenLMIS
Priority: High priority
Background
The “reporting rate” report shows, for a selected program and period, for each district:
number of facilities expected to report
number of facilities reported this period
number of facilities ever reported
total number of facilities in the district.
It also displays a map of districts with a ratio for each district. The ratios can be:
reported during period / expected facilities
ever reported / total facilities
ever reported / expected to report
When hovering the mouse over any district, all four figures appear.
The parameters for the report are:
program
period (which can be an A / B / C quarter period)
This report is used to follow up on non-reporting facilities. Clicking on a district brings up the screen allowing sending of email or SMS reminders.
The “timeliness in reporting” report shows, for a selected program and period, for each district:
number of facilities expected to report
number of facilities reporting on time (based on the time the R&R is authorised in eLMIS being before the 22nd of the month)
number of facilities reporting late (reporting between 22nd of month and end of month)
number of unscheduled reporters (reporting after the end of the month)
percentage of expected facilities who reported on time
The parameters for the report are:
program
period (which can be an A / B / C quarter period)
geographic filter which can be entire country or a subset
This report is used to follow up on non-reporting and late-reporting facilities and prioritise facilities in need of support or supervision.
The “non-reporting facility” report shows, for a selected program and period, a list of non-reporting facilities (facility code, name, type and district). It also displays a graph showing the number of non-reporting facilities as a percentage of the expected facilities.
The parameters for the report are:
program
period (which can be an A / B / C quarter period)
geographic filter which can be entire country or a subset
This report is used to follow up on non-reporting facilities and prioritise facilities in need of support or supervision.
