OpenLMIS provides functionality to update catchment population of specific geographic zones in bulk - via file import. How to do it?

  1. Create simple .csv file that will consist of two columns - code and catchmentPopulation:

  2. Enter the geographic zone codes and their corresponding catchment population values. Remember that only geographic zones with the lowest geographic level can be updated.

  3. Save file with geographicZones.csv name. It must be geographicZones.csv.

  4. Create a .zip file with this geographicZones.csv file. Here the .zip file name does not matter.

  5. Go to the Administration panel and select Data Import:

  6. Select Geographic Zones from drop-down menu:

  7. Click Select File and choose your zip file created in point 4:

  8. Click Import in right bottom corner:

  9. You will see an informational pop-up that everything went well or any issue occurred during file processing (e.g. attempt to update non-lowest geographical level).
