Goals/Scope

Background

Districts use a VRF that is generated from mFlow to request the supplying hub for vaccine refill. The generated VRF is calculated based on population, birth rate, surviving infants and other data that is already supplied by the region and registered on database as well as consumption of the District (Issue, receive and damage). The districts may keep paper based VRF depending on the policy and work procedure that they follow. There is no need for the EPI Focal Person or anyone to do calculation to get the quantity that should be requested. She/he should just select the period they want to generate VRF. Currently, VRF is sent monthly to all districts.

District VRF Components:

  • Doses
  • Waste factor
  • Balance at the beginning of supply period
  • Received during the last period
  • Used or dispatched to lower level during last supply period
  • Doses discarded (provide reason in remarks)
  • Current balance
  • Required for the next supply period
  • Required amount
  • Quantity released

Assumptions

  • All users are expected to know how to use basic Internet tools.
