Report Suspicious Email
To keep VillageReach safe, it’s crucial that you have confidence in the legitimacy of email before taking any action, like clicking a button or following a link, that it requests of you. Please therefore use the following “Phish Alert” button in Outlook to report any message which you suspect may be malicious.
The button’s placement will vary depending on your Outlook configuration and, among other places, may appear as follows.
Outlook on macOS
Outlook on Windows
Outlook Online
The Phish Alert button is available on the Outlook mobile Android and iOS apps as well. If you have trouble locating it on your platform, please contact IT@villagereach.org for assistance.
Although there’s no need to report spam, please don’t hesitate to report suspected or confirmed phishing attempts. Reported messages will be automatically analyzed. If one you report is deemed either legitimate or merely to be harmless spam rather a malicious phishing attempt, you’ll be automatically notified nearly immediately via email. Our IT team will review any messages which the classification system can’t decisively confirm as malicious and let you know if they’re innocuous.
If ever unsure about the legitimacy of an email, please report it via the “Phish Alert” button rather than clicking any buttons or links within the message itself.
