A few observations from me and others regarding Crucible:

  • overview usage is clunky

  • Notifications are not so good. Emails sent only if someone is specifically tagged, so a Reviewer may not be alerted to new comments or changes unless they are specifically called out (might be some configuration around this)

  • Notifications: only way for a casual observer to be alerted to new reviews is to set up an RSS feed

  • JIRA tie-in is nice

  • Easy to add new files, spread a review across Repos, etc.

  • Workflow is not super obvious.

  • Review coverage reports are nice, but only go by week.

Overall, seems to work decently for post-commit reviews, but need to investigate configuration for workflow and notifications. Also in terms of team processes, how to ensure comments/questions are resolved.
