Dashboards

We have an Overview and a Provincial dashboard built, and Clay is planning to build a District level one which will primarily offer stock and utilization related visualizations. (We can't and thus won't include indicators like coverage on a district-level dashboard because the target-population values are only available at the provincial-level.) Clay will build the District dashboard this week and send it to the team for review just as was done for the first two dashboards mentioned.

Vaccines on the Overview dashboard are grouped by schedule, just as the team requested, and the "last reporting period" is shown by default. Alternate ranges may be specified via the "Since" and "Until" fields, which are quite flexible. You can specify freeform text like "beginning last February," for example, in the "Since" field.

The Overview dashboard also has Province and District filters.

Question: Can we make the above filters more user friendly my making them to a LIKE rather than EQUALS match? Alternatively, given that we only have 11 provinces, can we make the Province filter display a list of available entries?

Answer: Clay Crosby (Unlicensed) can provide a list of values by using the "fetch values predicate" option.

The Utilization values had looked higher than expected - Timoteo mentioned they should never be over 100%. The problem had been a division-by-zero error which was fixed in the SQL. Although the numbers now look more reasonable, the SQL needs a little more testing/tuning and should be finished by tomorrow.

Clay hasn't received much feedback regarding the Breakage section. Timoteo Chaluco (Unlicensed) will review it and follow up with the team.

The Trimestral visualizations haven't changed since we last reviewed the dashboard as a group on 6/29. Clay Crosby (Unlicensed) is planning to build them out, though, based on the feedback he's since received and thinks it will go very quickly.

We currently have a Provincial dashboard built - it's intended for a provincial-level user and thus shows district-level data. Because there are so many districts, users should filter them to make the charts look more palatable.

Clay Crosby (Unlicensed) will update the utilization and breakage bar-graphs on the Provincial dashboard such that they show "last reporting period" instead of "year to date."

There are several ways we might visualize the stock at the end of the month indicator. Clay Crosby (Unlicensed) will thus distribute mockups to the team for feedback.

While calculating stockout percentages, the Ona team found that if there's a reported stockout for one antigen in a given month, SELV shows all other antigens at the facility to be as stocked out for that month as well. This seems to consistently be the case and suggests a potential problem with SELV's data. Dércio Duvane will thus review SELV's data, along with our existing Tableau reports, and follow up with the team.

Other Topics

Now that the Scalyr work has been mode for the Gap Project, Jason Rogena (Unlicensed) can begin incorporating it into the PAV Dashboard's server. He plans to begin this week or the next.

We haven't run out of database connections again, and  SD-50 - Getting issue details... STATUS  is thus on hold.

We're not yet sure when the rollout and user-training will occur, and need to coordinate with the MoH regarding it.
