Goal

The purpose of this meeting was to review the way in which the RED/REC data submission works from a user's perspective.

Action items

• Timoteo Chaluco (Unlicensed) will refine the Excel spreadsheets by 1) Removing DPS entries and 2) Translating their instructions into Portuguese.
• Clay Crosby (Unlicensed) will document where NiFi keeps error logs related to data submission, what the data files should be named, and how email should be titled. (Anything that's already on the Excel files instructions, though, needn't be replicated on the wiki.)
• Ben Leibert will try replacing accented characters with non-accented equivalents within the email message that NiFi sends users when an error is encountered during the data-submission process. (He'll ask Janette where the email message resides if he can't find it.)
• Clay Crosby (Unlicensed) will work with Janette to ensure email is only processed if it originates from certain predefined addresses (including our own). Timoteo offered the set of "official" addresses within a comment on the 2018-12-05 Check-in page.
