  • The team feels comfortable with finishing an initial version of the system, complete end to end functionality, by 6/26. The goal is to demo the system to user-representatives like Timoteo Chaluco (Unlicensed) then. We'll then have several days prior to month's end to attempt to incorporate any feedback they provide.

  • During the testing and development phase, the SQL responsible for creating a materialized view will reside in Superset. Prior to going into production, though, we'll move it into NiFi in order to avoid the overhead of running it every time a user accesses the dashboard.

  • To help reduce the likelihood of malicious and/or erroneous data getting into the system, we should only process data submitted by known and trusted email addresses.

  • We have a script used to backup our postgres databases nearly complete. We can use ExecuteStreamCommand to easily have NiFi call it prior to changing any database state, and should plan to do so.

  • The first spreadsheet in this file contains the first two columns show below. The third column, titled "Description," is how Timoteo said we should interpret the rows.
