Current sprint: COV Sprint 5

Upcoming sprint: COV Sprint 6

Version 3.10:

Team statshttps://openlmis.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=12504

Velocity:

  • Sprints are over in COVID project, that's why the OpenLMIS project doesn't appear as if it has sprints.
  • Will switch back over to OpenLMIS sprints in Jira after COVID work is finished
  • Sebastian: current focus on setting up instances for Zimbabwe and Cameroon. Training instances are ready; in country testing is occurring; preparing to roll out the system
  • preparing production instances for COVID
  • making set-up improvements

Quick deployment for COVID:

  • core systems were well in place; lots of time was spent getting data from countries. For this project a basic connection was created for PCMT to simplify master data management
  • reporting stack needs lots of manual customization to set up; SolDevelo has fixed the reporting stack deployment to simplify it
  • preparing and validating data can take lots of time; for these quick deployments we are using some common configurations so countries provide less data
    • even so, countries always have specific requirements, ways of ordering, etc. So impossible to use a common workflow for everything
  • estimated timeline for set up (getting data and configuring it): so far its taking 2ish months; Zim has some issues and desire to host locally; timing will depend on how quickly we can get the data that is needed

Implementer Meeting FeedbackWesley Brown (5 min)

Implementers - June 2 2020

  • COVID Project Update
  • DHIS2 Integration Discussion

OpenLMIS Reporting Stack ImprovementsSebastian Brudziński (15 min)
  • Set up the reporting stack step-by-step (SuperSet reports)
  • Setting up reporting stack in the past has been very manual and time consuming in the past; so goal is to automate this process
  • Nifi improvements, configuring repositories,
  • Improving the Reporting Stack setup
  • COV-113 - Getting issue details... STATUS
  • Goal to reduce this set up timing from 4 weeks→1 or 2 days
  • This work has revealed how many big issues we had with the reporting stack so gave us an opportunity to address those; and enable future implementations to set up with more ease

Progress Report on COVID-19 Project with CHAI

Wesley BrownGaurav Bhattacharya (Unlicensed) (10 min)

Project collaborating with CHAI to manage the logistics behind COVID19 response

Slight set back with Zim implementation; they want to host locally which takes more time

Training: VR has been hosting a remote training of the system (normal OpenLMIS training over the course of 5 days). Did it online; might develop some specific videos for the COVID project

If you are interested in possibly using the OpenLMIS COVID tool, reach out to Wes or Rebecca. Some implementation costs are covered by CHAI

Next PC meeting: Topic ideas??
