| Products in multiple programs: Reproductive health, essential meds, HIV all track condoms In the warehouse they’re stored together and there is one physical inventory item for condoms How does the visibility of that stock get controlled through those programs? What are the business rules or constraints in OpenLMIS? How do we improve the system here if needed? How does this impact reporting? Can we test this to determine what works and what doesn’t?

Questions from meeting with core team: What happens when the user thinks the product the search provides is wrong? Is this a problem that can be fixed by training? Should the alias be visible to the user once they’ve selected it? It would help the users know they found the right product.What product details would the user need to be able to select the correct product? This needs to be associated with commodity types and trade items Could the product name be used as a workaround? Enter in a product name that includes the “alias” What is the problem we are trying to solve? Where is this being used? The orderables list, the requisition view, the stock management views Start with existing places where you can search by product name. Design for requisitions would happen after. Administrator should be able to configure aliases. (DNME) What product details would the user need to be able to select the correct product?
