Expanding Country Participation in OpenLMIS Community

 

 

Reviewed Country Participation plan

Roadshow:

  • Need to be very clear on roadshow objectives, and create preparatory brief for country teams

  • How will countries to visit be determined?

  • What funding would be available to support participation from partners? Envisioning joint-funding from OpenLMIS and participating org.

Important to discuss upgrade path with countries

Roadmap - Will be included in Webinar, but will not be distributed as a handout.

Suggestion: Create an OpenLMIS User Group Mailing List (like IAPHL)

Governance Priorities for 2016

 

 

What do we want to work on this year?Participants needed more time to look over the priorities list generated at the community meeting to think about it. Possible Priorities: Sustainability, Funding, Marketing & Outreach, Country Participation

Uganda (CHAI) - Open Issues: Requirements and funding. Scope: Facility-level deployment, android-based, pilot, interoperability with Sage. Goal would be to develop an android client for use in multiple countries.
