How-To: Go into offline mode

If you have already initiated the distribution you want, you may continue on to record data for that distribution while in offline mode. For more information on tasks that can be completed offline, see What can I do in offline mode?

Step-by-step guide

Go Into Offline Mode

  1. Disconnect your computer from the Internet.
  2. Click Home. 
  3. You should now see the button Go Online in the upper righthand corner of the page. This means you are now successfully working in offline mode.
     
  4. Continue to 3. How-To: Record data to begin recording data while in offline mode. To go back into online mode, see How-To: Go into online mode.

Tips and Tricks:

You are able to record data while in online OR offline mode, but you must return to online mode to synchronize distributions. For more information on synching a distribution, see 4. How-To: Synch a distribution.
