SELV Upgrade: 2. What to do AFTER the upgrade

These steps should only be taken after the upgrade has taken place. For steps to take BEFORE the upgrade, see SELV Upgrade: 1. What to do BEFORE the upgrade.

Steps for AFTER the upgrade:

  1. Clear the Firefox cache. Instructions for this can be found here: How-To: Clear the Cache (Firefox)

  2. Go to selv.villagereach.org and login

  3. Click on Distributions, then Manage

  4. If you still see distributions in your "Initiated Distributions" list (that you forgot to delete), delete them now. Instructions here: 5. How-To: Delete a distribution

  5. You can now initiate/re-initiate distributions that still have facilities left to be synched. See 2. How-To: Initiate a distribution

  6. Continue with entering data for facilities that have not yet been synchronized with the system. See 3. How-To: Record data and then 4. How-To: Synch a distribution.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not record data for distributions that have remained in your "Initiated Distributions" list from before the upgrade. The data will not sync. Instead, delete the distribution and re-initiate it. Then you can record and synchronize data safely.
