How-To: End a SELV session

When you have finished using the SELV system for the day, there are a few things you should do to ensure that your next session is successful. Use this checklist to help you.

What do I do when I'm done with my SELV session?

  1. Synchronize your distributions
Once you have finished recording data (in offline OR online mode), it's important to synchronize all complete facilities with the system. Incomplete facilities will be stored in the cache until they are ready to be synched. For more on synching distribution, see 4. How-To: Synch a distribution.
  2. (Optional) Log out of SELV
Logging out of SELV after a session is finished is NOT a necessary step, although it is an optional one. Please note that once you log out you will not be able to work in offline mode and you will need to reconnect to online mode to log in again before your next session. See How-To: Access SELV while in Online mode for more information.
  3. Close your browser
Even when your browser is closed, Chrome will store the information you entered during your session. You do not need to keep the browser open on your computer. If you have not logged out of SELV, you may reopen a browser window at any time and use SELV in offline mode.
