How-To: Clear the cache (Chrome)
Chrome stores data that you input for distributions while in offline mode and makes it possible to save that cached information permanently to the server during synchronization in online mode. This is a tutorial for how to completely clear all information that has been stored in the cache.
Step-by-step guide
Clearing the cache
- Open Chrome web browser.
- Click the icon with three gray lines on the righthand side of the top toolbar.
- Select Settings. (The menu may look slightly different on a Windows machine.)
- Scroll down to the "Privacy" settings and click Clear Browsing Data.
- From the dropdown menu select the time period for which you'd like your data to be cleared.
- Check "Cookies and other site and plug-in data" from the list.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- It may take a few moments, but all initiated distribution data is now cleared from your computer.
