Tableau: How to switch languages

You can change the display language in Tableau Reader for easier viewing/understanding. 

Step-by-step guide

Change the Display Language

  1. Open Tableau Reader
  2. Go to Help > Choose language > [Portugês],
  3. Tableau Reader will now appear in Portugês.

To switch back to English:

  1. Go to Ajuda > Escolher idioma > [English].

 

Tips and Tricks:

Changing the display language in Tableau will only change the way Tableau's built-in display appears. (For example, the langauge of the buttons in the upper toolbar.) It will not change the language in the report itself. Changing the language in the report cannot be done with Tableau Reader, so if you need to have it display in a different language please contact SELV tech support.
