Goals/Scope

The goal of this epic is enter stories for admin to prepare CCE module to use at facility level. This include creating and assiging permission and role, creating options for drop downn and setting any parameters used in the operational pages.

As a National Cold Chain Manager I want to have a master list of all cold chain equipment models (and their detailed specifications) that are approved for use at a facility So that when we deploy new equipment, I don't have to enter all the details for each individual refrigerator - I will be able to select from a list of approved equipment and all the details will be automatically available


Acceptance Criteria

  1. Equipment types exist within the system and managed by the administrator through import or user interface. The equipment types include Refrigerator Or Freezer/ ILR, Vaccine Carriers, Cold Boxes & Ice Packs, Voltage Regulator / stabilizer, Generators, Transport

  2.  A list of cold chain equipment can initially be added to the system .

  3. After initially loading, it is possible to add additional equipment to the catalog.

  4. It is not possible to update equipment once it has been added to the catalog

  5. It is not possible to remove an item from the catalog. to remove an equipment from catalog is to change status rather than delete it from the database since it may be referenced from facility inventory.Equipments with that status (e.g Suspended, removed etc) will not appear in the list equipment for user to select. Also by changing status will help to report facilities with suspended equipment but still in use, this may be helpful during replacement plan

set up CCE parameters for all different type models

As a National logistician i need to set up CCE parameters for all different type models which are been procured or current in the field. When setting the parameters the activity is to extract the models which are current in use or in the process of been procured and enter/fill those selected models as well as their respective specifications into VIMS. The reliable source for these informations is updated WHO/UNICEF PQS/PIS catalog

Acceptance Criteria:

1. Electronic form with all the fields that capturing required details.

2.The models should also appear in both Regions and Districts so that when RIVO/DIVO is adding an Equipment will have to select the manufacture/Model while other specifications like type of Gas, capacity(litres) etc. will automatically populates them self by referencing those declared by National logistician

3. The system should not allow to add the model which is already exist in the system.

4. The system should allow me to EDIT or REMOVE the model if it is no longer exist in PQS/PIS catalog. eg.some years ago Tanzania announced that the CCE of RCW 42EK model are not allowed to be used in the field.

3CCE Permission Model

As a store room manager I must have Create / Read / Update permissions for my facility and Read permissions for all facilities below me on the supervisory hierarchy so that I can manage my own facility and oversee the management of all facilities below me.

This is primarily a permissions issue!

Acceptance Criteria:

1. Only the National Logistician can Create / Read / Update CCE at the Central vaccine Store

2. Only the RIVO at a particular RVS can Create / Read / Update CCE at their Regional Vaccine Store (RVS)

3. Only the DIVO for a particular DVS can Create / Read / Update CCE at their District Vaccine Store (DVS)

4. All users have read-access to nodes below them on the supply hierarchy

Additional Context

As a DIVO I want to be able to Create / Read / Update CCE inventories for all facilities that I issue to so that I can keep their CCE inventory up to date while they are not in VIMS.
