Update from Tanzania

Alfred Mchau

Presentation from Alpha, Alfred an Hassan

Q: Does eLMIS have a stock management feature or is exclusively for R&R?

A: The R&R includes aggregate stock information, but does not support transactional stock movements. The reports include total amounts of wastage and stock receipts for the reporting period.

Q: Could you elaborate further on the offline and sync challenges?

A: District stores have challenges with internet connectivity. Doing the daily stock counts are challenging.

Q: Could you elaborate on the eLMIS interoperability? Are they in the same location/server?

A: No, they are not in the same location nor server. The other systems are not managed by us but the interoperability layer will be online in July.

Q: With the EPICOR 9 integration, who 'owns' the product list?

A: We map the products details with the ERP catalog. The current learnings and experience includes mis-matches and manual conflict handling. Would like a Product Registry to get the shared product details.

Q: How many products?

A: 1,000 products. MSD ERP has a bigger catalog because they serve other clients.
